The T Project runs the only shelter for homeless transgender women in Singapore. Beginning in 2014 with a small space at the attic of a shop house shared with another NGO, it has now expanded its scope of services (thanks to the kind support of individual donors) to better serve the transgender community.

for potential residents

The T Project welcomes you to apply for temporary stay at the shelter. We hope that in your stay, you will can take care of your basic needs and lead an independent life.

Before we are able to admit you into the shelter, we will require you to be attached to a social worker, who will manage your case. Your social worker will have to provide us a referral letter and a social worker report.

If you are unable to find a social worker, please let us know and we will refer you to a relevant organization.

We would like to emphasise that we provide a temporary accommodation to the homeless and those in need. All residents have to have a plan to seek permanent accommodations.
We will not accept walk-ins nor intermittent short stays.

for social workers

If you are looking to admit a client into our shelter, please drop us an email and we will provide more information. As of now we do not have a contact number and work solely through email and physical meetings.

We recommend you and your client go through our guidebook to see the rules and regulations in the shelter before admission.

All our residents are attached to a social worker, who manages the case and supports client matters outside of the shelter, including family, healthcare, and financial assistance.
